When a hazard cannot be eliminated or when engineering controls are not Sufficient, Personal shall use Personal Protective Equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES

AS AN EMPLOYER: –

We are responsible to provide to the workforce adequate, appropriate and approved PPE Suitable for the task.

PPE shall confirm to approve HSE standards [ANSI, BS, CE, and DIN].

Employees shall be trained to use PPE correctly.

PPE must fit employee properly.

AS AN EMPLOYEE: –

You must wear provide3d PPE as directed in the areas defined.

You must take care of your PPE & report any defects to your supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS: –

Hard hat, Safety Footwear, safety Glasses Shall be worn AT ALL TIMES while working in the yard, fabrication shops, offshore on all vessels, Barges, Platforms [outside accommodation area]. Other types of PPE will be Provided when the activity, conditions or HSE department dictate.

Violation of this policy concerning PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT will result in Disciplinary Action being taken.
